Tower Research Capital The Low Latency & Market Access Lead Researcher researches, designs, and directs implementation of exchange communications-level latency optimizations globally. This role optimizes low-latency order entry, market data consumption, and network connectivity components.

Responsibilities

Researching, designing, and directing the implementation of exchange communications-level latency optimizations across equities globally in order to increase P&L of Latour latency-sensitive strategies
Optimizing low-latency order entry session management, market data consumption, and network connectivity components
Designing and managing offline reporting / Monitoring global exchange connectivity performance
Coordinating production development with multiple developers within the Latour Trading team. Coordinating FPGA solutions whenever needed.

Qualification

Required

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a related engineering field
At least 3 years of relevant low-latency engineering experience in automated trading, or proven experience for UK-based roles.
Working knowledge of exchange connectivity protocols and technical setups especially in equities market
Strong organizational skills and the ability to design detailed, rigorous experimentation frameworks
