People Operations Specialist

Required

• We need someone who:
• Catches what doesn't match: You notice when a record is off, see how one change affects everything downstream, and fix it at the source.
• Gets it done without being chased: You move through a high volume of work at pace without letting quality slip, make the calls you can, and know when to escalate.
• Treats every record as a person: You pitch in wherever the team needs you, no task too small, and you handle sensitive information with care because getting the details right is how we look after our team.
• Own our HR data: keep HR, payroll and headcount records accurate and matching across systems, run regular checks, and fix errors where they start
• Run every employee lifecycle event end to end, from onboarding and offboarding admin to contractor conversions, moves between states or countries, contract amendments, salary changes, leaves and visa updates (with our outside immigration counsel), so each is touched once and right in every system
• Run benefits operations: lead open enrollment, keep plan documents current, and work with our broker on renewals and compliance
• Act as day-to-day admin and escalation point for our HRIS, payroll, benefits and global EOR providers, and push open issues until they close
• Benchmark roles against market data, model the full cost of offers and changes across countries, and prepare accurate offer letters consistent with approved terms
• Be the main beta tester for our internal operating system, running new features against real cases with the engineers until they're right, and help run cross-functional People projects such as our coworking weeks
• Experience & Capabilities
• Experience in People Operations, HR operations or payroll, including at an early-stage startup or on a small team where you covered a bit of everything
