Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution reporting for software qualification at software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing levels. Establish efficient and scalable test automation processes using existing tools, aligning the testing roadmap with leadership objectives and organizational quality goals. Track and resolve software quality gaps by analyzing test results, collaborating with developers to identify root causes, and defining corrective actions. Contribute to software quality sign-off by providing clear metrics on test coverage, stability, and compliance with quality standards. Develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance test reliability, efficiency, and automation coverage. Investigate test failures and work cross-functionally with developers to drive continuous improvement in testing processes and software robustness. Present software quality status, progress on roadmap items, and potential risks to leadership. Lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers, strategically planning and distributing automated test coverage across SIL, HIL, and other automated test environments.
