As a Director of Product Management for Core Product, you’ll lead a mid-sized team of Product Managers who are responsible for the key revenue-driving surface areas at Mixpanel.. You’ll own strategy for this group while developing the people and practices that help the whole team do their best work. You’ll partner closely with product leadership to set direction, raise the bar on product craft, and create leverage across the org.

Lead, mentor and grow a team of Product Managers through coaching, feedback and career development

Set product strategy and direction across your area using customer conversations, market insight and Mixpanel’s own product data

Raise the bar on product craft across the team, including written communication, prioritization, experimentation and storytelling

Prioritize ruthlessly across a long list of possible bets, balancing customer impact, business value and team capacity

Define and track the metrics that show whether what your team shipped actually worked, and course-correct when it didn’t

Align engineering, design, sales, marketing and support around a shared roadmap and set of priorities

Tell a clear story about what your team has shipped to internal and external audiences, leading with the customer problem and using customer stories to make the value tangible

Stay close to the market and competitive landscape to inform where Mixpanel should invest next

Partner with product leadership to shape the product function at Mixpanel: what it’s responsible for, how it works with other teams, and how it scales over time
