Fanduel Senior Platform Engineering Manager at Fanduel leading multiple teams to deliver internal platform capabilities for engineers and AI agents. Responsible for technical and organizational leadership.
Responsibilities
Take on data science projects from start to finish, including working with stakeholders to agree project KPIs and reporting on progress
Deliver high-quality analysis, customer segmentation and predictive models to drive incremental revenue through optimal automated bonus spend distribution
Improve understanding of customer behaviors, efficiency of promotions, and effectiveness of bonus spend
Leverage AI to accelerate and enhance work while managing AI risk and maintaining understanding of AI output
Develop new ways to turn behaviors into features for analysis, segmentation, and predictive modeling
Create, modify, and evolve models which solve business problems and improve department KPIs
Demonstrate insights and predictions using visualizations and clear explanations
Work with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineer to optimize data quality and data modeling pipelines
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and support strategic objectives

Required
Proven experience leading across multiple engineering teams, ideally within Platform Engineering, infrastructure, SRE, DevOps or a related engineering environment.
Experience leading and developing Engineering Managers and engineers, with a track record of building strong, high-performing teams.
A track record of delivering platform capabilities or internal products at scale that improve developer productivity, reliability or operational efficiency.
Experience setting direction and translating strategy into execution, aligning multiple teams around clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
Experience working closely with Product and Engineering leadership to shape roadmaps, prioritize investment and manage competing demands.
Experience building or scaling internal developer platforms and self-service capabilities, with a strong understanding of platform-as-a-product principles and experience driving adoption across an engineering organization.
Experience using platform metrics and developer feedback to measure adoption, developer experience, reliability and outcomes, and using those insights to inform priorities and investment.
Strong technical understanding of platform architecture, distributed systems and modern software delivery, with the ability to influence technical direction and evaluate trade-offs at an organizational level.
Experience with modern platform technologies and practices such as Kubernetes, AWS, GitOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and observability.
An understanding of how AI-assisted development and agent-based workflows are changing how engineers interact with platforms, tooling and infrastructure.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Product, Security and senior leadership.
A mindset of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement, with the ability to create the same culture across multiple teams.
