Xai Inventory Analyst at SpaceXAI responsible for managing high-value materials and equipment inventory to support data center operations. Ensures inventory accuracy and just-in-time material flow while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
As an Inventory Specialist supporting SpaceXAI data center operations, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, issuance, kitting, and control of high-value materials and equipment (servers, GPUs, networking gear, power and cooling components, spare parts, and other critical infrastructure). You will maintain inventory accuracy, support just-in-time material flow to construction and operations teams, and help ensure the site can scale rapidly while meeting safety and quality standards.
Receive, store, and issue raw material, parts, details, and hardware to support data center construction, commissioning, and operations
Store parts and materials in designated locations (bins, racks, VLMs, or staging areas), accurately identifying parts and locations
Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures, especially for high-value or sensitive equipment
Perform picking and kitting functions to assemble necessary kits of parts, material, and hardware; verify all items are available and accounted for
Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantities, and revisions
Issue material against approved paperwork, including affixing verification and maintaining lot/serial traceability as required
Perform cycle counts and maintain high inventory accuracy
Abide by all procedures, work instructions, and standard operating documents
Manage schedule priorities and independently execute work to meet site deliverables
Perform good housekeeping in inventory and staging areas
Support material flow, including staging and just-in-time delivery to internal customers
Qualification
Excellent computer skillsExperience in aerospaceAbility to read and interpret drawingsERP/WMS system experience
Required
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
1+ years of inventory control experience
Preferred
3+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
Experience and understanding of inventory, kitting, and material handling processes
Experience operating a forklift and other inventory/material handling equipment
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, electronics, technology, or data center environments
Ability to read and interpret drawings, procedures, and parts lists
ERP/WMS system experience
Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management (preferred)
