VP of Engineering

Required

• Proven experience personally building complex, scalable software systems from zero-to-one—i.e., first-principles problem identification to production-grade solution.
• Proven experience building and leading high-performance engineering organizations: from attracting and closing talent to designing an organizational system that develops engineers at scale.
• Proven experience successfully designing and shipping enterprise-grade, LLM-based software systems.
• Experience with large-scale industrial systems and their customers a strong plus.
• Technical Environment:
• Backend: Rust, Python, high-performance backend services, APIs, data-intensive systems.
• Frontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js, real-time interfaces, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE).
• Systems/Integrations: C#, Electron, building deployed-native/desktop applications
• Distributed Systems & Orchestration: durable workflow execution, Temporal, event-driven architectures, distributed systems
• Infrastructure: Terraform, AWS, Bedrock, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, containerized infrastructure, production systems with demanding reliability and security requirements
• Security/Compliance: CMMC, FedRAMP, ITAR
