Trueanomalyinc Avionics Technician assembles, integrates, and tests avionics systems and harnesses for spacecraft. Supports engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams from early development through flight readiness and production ramp.
Responsibilities
Avionics Assembly: Build, install, and test avionics hardware including flight computers, sensors, RF components, power distribution units, and harnesses using engineering drawings, work instructions, and process documentation. This includes crimping, soldering, connector backshell assembly, and cable routing to meet fit, form, and workmanship standards.
Harness Fabrication and Installation: Fabricate, inspect, and install wire harnesses and cable assemblies at required quality and standards, ensuring proper routing, strain relief, shielding, and continuity.
System Integration: Work alongside engineering and quality teams to integrate avionics components and subsystems into spacecraft structures, supporting checkouts, functional tests, and troubleshooting to root cause.
Testing and Validation: Conduct and support avionics testing including continuity, hi-pot, RF link, functional, and environmental testing. Operate GSE and automated test equipment to verify system performance.
PCB Assembly and Repair: Assemble, inspect, and rework printed circuit board assemblies to required quality and standards, including component placement, soldering, and conformal coating. Perform board-level troubleshooting and repair to support hardware turnaround and production flow.
