Key contributor of the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, coordination of supporting schedules, disclosures, and related deliverables

Prepare and/or review primary financial statements, footnotes, and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements

Partner with the Controller and accounting team in the quarterly and annual close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, account analyses, and supporting schedules

Serve as a key member of the external audit process, including coordinating audit requests, preparing and reviewing audit deliverables and supporting documentation, managing the audit PBC process, and working with the external auditors to resolve accounting and reporting matters

Partner cross-functionally including Supply Chain, Legal and HR, and other stakeholders to evaluate and appropriately account for business transactions and activities

Support technical accounting assessments and documentation for complex transactions and research new accounting standards and SEC guidance; assess applicability and implementation impact

Draft clear, well-supported technical accounting memos and communicate conclusions to stakeholders

Identify opportunities to improve accounting, reporting, and close processes and help design and implement scalable processes and controls as the Company grows.

Support the Company’s SOX and internal control activities, including documentation, control execution, testing support, remediation, and process improvement, as applicable

Maintain a strong understanding of the Company’s accounting policies, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls, and proactively identify potential accounting or reporting issues
