BETA Technologies Master Data Engineering Specialist manages and audits Product Bill of Materials (BoM) and Master Data through product development stages. The role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure data conformity and supports FAA certification processes.

Responsibilities

Manage detailed bill of materials (BOMs) for all levels of design, manufacturing, as-built, as-delivered, and in-service BOM
Coordinate with design, manufacturing and other disciplines to ensure proper master data is defined and captured
Manipulate the BOM to produce various configurations for engineering release, material planning, flight test configurations, and customer deliveries
Author and maintain procedures related to master data collection, reconciliation, and alignment with BOM management, release, and baselines
Maintain product structure including applying updated master data attributes and key/critical characteristics
Maintain correct configuration effectivity in a certification/regulatory environment
Develop training and provide detailed instructions to assist others with master data development
Assist in defining metadata and associated parameters for new and existing data items

Required

Deep knowledge of industrial Bill of Materials and Master Data best practices in a Product Development environment.
Experience with Production Lifecycle and Enterprise Resource Planning software (3DExperience, Teamcenter, Plex, SAP)
5+ years of experience in aerospace or other regulated design and manufacturing industry.
BS in a relevant engineering or quality discipline or equivalent education and experience.
Proficient with 3D CAD Software (Catia preferred) for review and audit of product datasets.
Strong skills in MS Excel for analyzing and comparing product structures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers.
High energy, self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
Above and Beyond Qualifications:
Familiarity with 3D digital thread and/or model-based definition (MBD) environments.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to think on your feet, suggest solutions, adjust priorities, and move forward.
