Responsibilities

Partner with the team to build, optimize, and evolve the firms’ current research pipeline and strategy development
Identify potential areas for optimization and performance enhancements through research; including, but not limited to suggestions for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of code quality
Build components and new infrastructure to maintain new trading strategies and exhausting the testing and debugging skills as part of the development process
Work directly with traders and developer to provide realistic project timelines and estimates and ensure team accountability
Stay current on industry developments and trends to maintain ongoing business awareness and a competitive edge
A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree with an emphasis in a STEM related field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.) with more than 2 years of relevant work experience
Experience coding in C++ and Python
Strong organizational and software architecture skills with a proven understanding of optimizing and profiling strategies
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects at one time

The expected base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and skills.
