Test Strategy and Planning

Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for end to end features including mobile applications, backend services and data/algorithmic solutions.

Define testing objectives, scope, and success criteria for each test phase ensuring coverage for complex user scenarios (e.g., onboarding, sleep and readiness insights, activity tracking, notifications, subscription flows).

Collaborate with Product, Science, and Firmware teams to understand feature requirements, data/algorithm behavior, and any regulatory or privacy considerations.

Test Execution and Reporting

Execute manual and automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects, issues, and bugs in a clear, concise manner.

Validate data flow and algorithm accuracy, ensuring inputs from the ring and backend translate correctly to user‐facing insights in the app.

Perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing on new features, experiments, and releases across platforms.Use and Implement big data monitoring against acceptance criteria.

Visualize data and metrics (coverage, defect trends, pass rates) to communicate test coverage and quality status to stakeholders.

Automation and Continuous Integration

Implement, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks for mobile and API testing using for e.g., Pytest, Appium.

Integrate automated testing in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Gitlab CI, Jenkins) to support continuous testing & fast feedback.
