As a Digital Electrical Engineer on the hardware team, you will be responsible for owning the design, manufacture, test and deployment of highly integrated PCBAs used by a large number of space customers. You will work with a small team of software, RF hardware, and FPGA engineers to shepherd the product from initial design to vehicle integration, taking a full-stack approach to building robust space communication systems.

Design high-speed digital hardware including processors, FPGAs, memory, interfaces, and supporting circuitry

Perform trades and analyses of board architecture and component selection

Schematic capture and layout of space-grade PCBs

Bring-up and testing of new designs

Partner with RF engineers, software, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing teams and production test teams to drive designs end-to-end

Work with mechanical engineers to ensure proper thermal dissipation of devices

Work with supply chain counterparts to enable rapid manufacture and iteration of components

Design for performance under space-grade acceptance, qualification, and compliance requirements
