Torc Robotics Software Engineer 2 will design, build, and own large scale backend services supporting data ingestion, processing, and access across enterprise data platforms. The role involves developing cloud-native APIs, data workflows, and infrastructure automation on AWS.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and own large scale backend services for data ingestion and processing
Develop API driven backend services and REST interfaces for cloud workflows
Implement backend capabilities including access control, schema validation, caching, and partitioning
Design and maintain data loop workflows from ingestion to downstream consumption
Architect and manage cloud foundations leveraging AWS services
Build product metrics, schemas, dashboards, and visualizations
Lead architecture discussions and define system interfaces and data models
Deliver cost saving initiatives via data lifecycle management and S3 tiering
Participate in roadmap planning and multi-team architecture reviews
Mentor engineers and interns and support onboarding
Improve service reliability by triaging alerts and automating on-call scheduling

Salary: $145,600.00 as per year
