Aduro Advisors The Assistant Controller manages client relationships and coordinates workflow among team members to deliver high-quality financial services. This role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciling transactions, and supporting month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

Act as main point of contact for multiple clients
Manage workflow and coordinate work among team members
Set up and run recurring client check-in calls
Respond to ad-hoc client requests within 24 hours
Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries
Maintain general ledgers in accordance with US GAAP
Drive month-end close process and raise follow-up questions
Reconcile and maintain investment information for fund investments
Prepare and/or review quarterly financial statements
Utilize FundPanel to send investor correspondence

Qualification

You are naturally resourceful

Required

External auditor experience / CPA certification / MBA a plus
You are naturally resourceful, driven and have strong problem-solving skills
You see the value in providing excellent customer service, being thoughtful and know the details make the difference
You are prepared to “roll up your sleeves” and help the team when needed
You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems such as Xero or Quickbooks
