Genevatrading Trade Support Engineer Intern at Geneva Trading to support change release processes and troubleshoot trading desk issues. The role involves log file review, monitoring tool management, scripting, and leveraging AI tools for automation.

Responsibilities

Support engineers through change release process and deployment
Troubleshoot and escalate issues to DevOps and Development teams
Review log files to identify application issues and propose solutions
Assist in management and tuning of monitoring tools to prioritize alerts
Develop scripts to automate tasks
Leverage generative AI tools and LLMs to accelerate script development and optimize troubleshooting
Explore and assist in implementing AI-driven solutions for log analysis, anomaly detection, and system monitoring

Qualification

Experience troubleshootingExperience with scripting (PythonPython proficiency highly preferred

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Information Technology or a similar field of study
Experience troubleshooting, documenting, basic networking concepts, and Windows OS
Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts and a strong willingness to utilize AI tools for effective problem-solving
Problem solver and self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred

Python proficiency highly preferred
Experience with cloud services/platforms, log tools, queries, and Jira preferred
Strong project management experience preferred
Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) or integrating AI/ML APIs into automation scripts
