Responsibilities
Engage Customers: Present Snowflake's technology, vision, and roadmap to audiences ranging from technical contributors to business executives, and connect technical solutions to business outcomes.
Drive Technical Wins: Work hands-on with prospects and customers across the sales cycle, from tailored demos and proofs of concept to solution design and implementation. Show the business value of Snowflake at every stage.
Build Technical Champions: Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and develop technical champions who help advance deals and support long-term success.
Stay at the Cutting Edge: Keep deep, current knowledge of Snowflake's platform, industry trends, and competing or complementary technologies, and know how to position Snowflake against them. Use hands-on labs, demos, and Snowflake's learning resources to keep your skills sharp.
Collaborate Across Snowflake: Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to support customer success and share field feedback that improves Snowflake's products and messaging.
Partner with the Ecosystem: Work with technology and implementation partners on joint architectures, account strategies, and initiatives that help customers succeed.
Represent Snowflake: Serve as a Snowflake ambassador at industry and customer events.
Grow with the Team: Learn from fellow Sales Engineers and from wins and losses, take advantage of mentorship and on-the-job learning, and help each other get better.
Foundational Experience: Some experience in a technical role (e.g., solution engineering, solutions architecture, or software development), preferably in SaaS, data analytics, or cloud technology.
Willingness to Learn: A passion for solving problems and eagerness to grow your technical and business skills.
Technical Aptitude: Basic familiarity with SQL and/or Python, or a strong willingness to learn.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both written and verbal.
