Gassouth Software Engineering Intern at Gas South works under general supervision to understand the technology stack, review code base, implement minor application changes, and perform testing. The role involves participating in daily scrums, code reviews, and supporting production operations.

Responsibilities

Participate in daily scrums and work on the assigned tasks.
Participate in code review sessions with the development team.
Implement assigned tasks namely minor application changes / writing unit tests / Manual QA / test automation as assigned by the team lead / scrum master.
Actively engage and seek out input from other team members.
Conduct end to end testing for both functionality and usability.
Assist the cross functional teams by providing the appropriate level of support for production operations.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer information systems.
Internship or prior relevant work experience is preferred
Understanding of Azure DevOps and/or other development environments.
Understanding of C# and/or VB.NET, HTML, CSS, Angular and other front-end frameworks will be a huge plus.
Understanding or exposure to the following technologies are a plus:
Microsoft Azure
