Senior Fraud Analyst - Team Lead

Required

• 5–8 years of experience in chargeback & fraud prevention, detection, investigations, or remediation within a payment service provider, Acquirer, or fintech platform.
• Strong, hands-on understanding of fraud in the card acquiring space, covering both:
• Merchant fraud: Fraudulent merchant onboarding/boarding fraud, transaction laundering, bust-out schemes, collusive merchant activity.
• User/cardholder fraud: Account takeover (ATO), card testing, card-not-present (CNP) fraud, scams and social engineering.
• Working knowledge of card brand fraud and chargeback monitoring programs such as VAMP, ECM, SMMP, VIRP, BRAM, etc., and experience remediating merchants against these thresholds.
• Experience building or significantly improving fraud tooling, case management workflows, or investigations processes. This is a builder, not just an operator.
• Comfortable responding directly to bank partner and sponsor bank RFIs, including preparing data and written narratives.
• Highly analytical; comfortable using data to identify emerging fraud trends and to justify policy or tooling changes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to explain complex fraud findings clearly to non-fraud stakeholders and external partners.
• Sound judgment and ability to make and stand behind difficult, sometimes ambiguous, fraud decisions.
