act1federal Senior Financial Management / PPBE Analyst at act1federal responsible for financial research, reconciliation, analysis, planning, execution, and reporting in support of Government space acquisition programs. This role emphasizes budget execution, compliance, and decision support.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed financial research and data reconciliation across multiple systems, reports, and funding sources.
Interpret complex financial information and develop recommended courses of action to support leadership decisions.
Develop and coordinate financial staffing packages in accordance with DoD financial policies and regulations.
Apply DoD financial-management concepts, guidance, instructions, and policies to daily program execution.
Use financial systems such as CCaR, GAFS, FM Suite, DEAMS, and WAWF to track, reconcile, and manage financial information.
Prepare reports, dashboards, briefings, and presentations for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Support financial planning, PPBE/POM activities, budget execution, forecasting, and funding analysis for Government space programs.
Support execution reviews, financial reconciliation, Tri-Annual Reviews, program reviews, and audit-related actions.
Develop or improve tools and processes that increase efficiency, automation, accuracy, and transparency in financial operations.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of direct DoD financial-management experience, preferably supporting space or major defense acquisition programs.
Experience working in Government, military, FFRDC, or Government-contractor financial-management environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience reconciling complex financial data.
Proficiency with DoD financial systems and reporting tools, including CCaR, GAFS, FM Suite, DEAMS, and/or WAWF.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for financial analysis and executive reporting.
Experience with Air Force, U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, AFSPC, or former SMC programs strongly preferred.
Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
US. Citizenship required.
