Opentable Engineering Manager leads a team to design, develop, and deliver business-facing products and system enhancements for finance and business stakeholders. The role includes coding, architecture decisions, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
The Enterprise Systems Team sits within the Technology Operations organization and partners with finance, business, analytics, product and engineering stakeholders to help build and deliver projects to increase business efficiency and automate global teams’ business processes. This individual will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of great business-facing products, system enhancements and critical reporting to finance and business stakeholders.
Work closely with the business and product teams to lead cross-product improvements and initiatives.
Write code to implement new tools and platforms, and maintain existing ones
Review and update existing integrations
Drive architecture evaluations and decisions to build reliable and observable systems
Build rapport with stakeholders, manage expectations and deadlines by providing guidance
Mentor and manage a team to effectively align resources with priorities and oversee quality of work and ongoing operational support being delivered to the finance stakeholders.

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with an engineering/technical background.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience writing code, with a minimum of 3+ years on a fintech/enterprise technology team.
Strong demonstrable experience deploying JS/TS, PHP code in an enterprise environment
Strong demonstrable experience with SQL
Qualification
