Blitzy Senior Engagement Manager at Blitzy manages and delivers professional services engagements, acting as liaison between services and sales. The role ensures seamless execution of customer projects and alignment with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The Senior Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and delivering professional services engagements, acting as the liaison between the services and sales organization. The EM ensures the seamless execution of customer projects while maintaining clear communication and alignment with internal stakeholders.
As an Engagement Manager, you will ensure that our customers are getting the most value out of Blitzy's AI-native software development platform by positioning, preparing, managing the delivery of, and following up on our professional services and training engagements. This is a strategic and cross-functional role that partners closely with Sales, Solutions Architecture, FDE, and Product teams on campaigns, programs, and content.
Run several concurrent customer engagements end to end: kickoff, delivery plan, milestones, status cadence, and handoff to steady-state adoption
Build the engagement plan with the customer rather than for them — scope, sequencing, success measures, and who does what on both sides
Keep scope, timeline, and resourcing honest; flag slippage early and bring a recommendation, not just a problem
Partner with your Sales counterpart from the first scoping conversation so what gets sold is what gets delivered
Help customer teams actually change how they build - run the enablement sessions, answer the skeptics, and get usage past the pilot team
Track and report the outcomes that matter to the customer, and turn the good ones into references and case studies
Feed delivery patterns, friction, and feature gaps back to Product and FDE
Qualification
Required
5+ years delivering technical programs or professional services engagements, ideally at a consultancy, SI, or software/cloud vendor
Comfortable in the details of software delivery - architecture, environments, CI/CD, security and governance reviews. Hands-on time as an engineer or technical PM is a plus
A track record of running engagements under both agile and waterfall models without letting process become the point
Credible with engineering leaders and senior stakeholders: you can hold a room, say the hard thing, and still keep the relationship
Practical experience with AI coding agents and AI-native development tooling, or clear evidence you pick up new technology fast
Clear written and verbal communication - status that people trust, plans that people follow
Experience introducing a new category of tooling into a large enterprise is preferred
Background scaling delivery practices at an early-stage company is preferred
