Premiertruck Senior Accountant at Premier Truck Group responsible for preparing financial statements and reconciling general ledger accounts. Manages dealership depreciation, factory payable reconciliation, and sales and use tax calculations.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements, statistical Reports and Bank Reconciliations
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
Prepare and post journal entries during month end close
Perform balance sheet and budget comparison analysis and explain variances
Responsible for dealership depreciation/fixed assets
Responsible for dealership factory payable recon
Responsible for deposit reconciliation/posting
Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliation
Responsible for calculation of sales and use tax
Responsible for warranty-payments and credit memos
Responsible for AP invoice approvals and verification
Audit sales analysis

Qualification

Experience with the automotive sales

Required

A college degree in accounting or a related field is required
A minimum of one year experience in a dealership environment preferred
Experience with the automotive sales, service and parts industry a plus
Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all business and employment issues
