Subcontract Administrator IV

Required

• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures, including FAR and DFAR.
• Working knowledge and implementation of MDA MAP/PMAP within supplier base.
• Working knowledge of ISA 9001 standards and AS9100D flow-down requirements, including flow down of corrective action to suppliers for non-conforming processes.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Ability to generate quantitative improvements in supplier delivery, quality, and cost.
• Proven exceptional communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
• Self-motivated, persistent, hands-on, result oriented, well organized with ability to handle multiple projects. Must be proactive and have a sense of urgency and can think ahead of potential problems while demonstrating an aptitude for process improvement.
• Five (5) years to eight (8) years of professional experience in Subcontract Administration, Supply Chain
• Management or related fields, to include logistics, project, or business management.
• Experience planning, managing subcontractor RFPs & RFQs and executing all elements of subcontract negotiations including but not limited to cost reductions and payment terms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Global Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or other related discipline from an accredited college/university. May consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Must be able to travel approximately 10% of the time.
