Create comprehensive firmware verification plans covering NVMe standards, enterprise SSD protocols, and customer specifications (e.g., SMART, Trim, Get Log Page, OCP).

Design and deploy white-box, grey-box, and black-box automation tests using Python to validate security protocols and firmware functionality on a module-by-module basis.

Execute and own end-to-end testing across diverse platforms, including simulation, FPGA prototyping, and prototype SSD hardware.

Utilize deep SSD domain expertise to analyze weekly regression failures, root-cause complex firmware bugs, and drive issue resolution.

Partner closely with firmware development teams during code reviews to improve software architecture, expand test coverage, and elevate overall code quality.

Own test reporting and articulately communicate technical challenges, solutions, and mitigation plans to both engineering teams and management.

Education / Experience:

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Digital Sciences, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.

Position requires experience in:

SSD firmware testing and/or development.

SSD or NAND Flash development industry.

Code development using Python, C/C++, and Javascript.
