Ripple Internal Audit Information Technology (IT) Manager at Ripple responsible for managing IT audits, evaluating internal controls, and collaborating with Information Security and GRC partners. This role includes preparing audit reports and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

Manage IT audits successfully through conducting interviews, identifying key risks and controls, drafting work papers, gathering evidence, performing testing and reviewing workpapers.
Prepare audit work papers adhering to international auditing standards for quality and content, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Evaluate and detail the design and efficiency of internal controls, identifying control gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with Information Security & GRC partners to assess audit findings, communicate control weaknesses, and assist in developing management action plans for mitigation while evaluating the adequacy of responses.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings and recommendations, presenting results to senior management for review and action.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to support examination efforts, ensuring compliance and transparency in audit processes.
Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and professional development.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent business field.
Minimum 5 years experience conducting internal or external risk-based IT audits. Experience performing audits across Financial Services, Banking & Capital Markets industry is preferred.
Proven knowledge of accounting principles and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
Solid understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley and/or COSO/COBIT internal control framework is a plus.

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent business field
Minimum 5 years experience conducting internal or external risk-based IT audits
Proven knowledge of accounting principles and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards

Preferred

Experience performing audits across Financial Services, Banking & Capital Markets industry
Solid understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley and/or COSO/COBIT internal control framework
Certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
