VP, Communication

Required

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of experience in communications, PR, media, corporate affairs, or related fields for Director level; 15+ years for VP level.
• Experience building, scaling, or significantly expanding a communications or strategic positioning function at a fast-growing technology company or leading institution.
• Proven experience working directly with founders, CEOs, executives, and senior cross-functional leaders.
• Strong relationships with technology, business, enterprise, AI, developer, and/or policy media.
• Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional communications programs on a global level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for users, developers, enterprise buyers, employees, policymakers, partners, and the press.
• Strong understanding of the AI landscape and how AI is changing software development, enterprise productivity, and the future of work.
• Hands-on fluency with AI and agentic tools, with a vision for AI-native communications operations.
• Track record of flagship thought leadership: signature reports, executive platforms, and ideas that shape an industry’s conversation.
• Experience earning third-party validation from leading institutions and policy communities for a scrutinized or emerging technology.
• Experience guiding communications through major inflection points: public-company transitions, landmark policy moments, category creation.
