Alphasense Product Manager II at AlphaSense owning financial data surfacing through search and agentic capabilities. Responsible for defining product experience and leading feature development with engineering and design.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Product Manager to own and define how our financial data is surfaced through search and agentic capabilities across the AlphaSense platform. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of our vast financial datasets and the systems that make that data discoverable, screenable, and actionable for end users and AI agents alike. You will be responsible for understanding how financial content is structured, indexed, and ranked so that it can be reliably surfaced through search, screening, and agentic workflows, defining the product experience that makes our data foundation a trusted input for both human analysts and AI-driven research.
You'll partner closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define requirements, author PRDs, and lead the development of new features.
Define and execute the short- and mid-term roadmaps for how financial data is surfaced through search, screening, and agentic capabilities, aligning with business objectives and client needs.
Contribute to the long-term Financial Data vision by building a deep understanding of client personas (e.g., analysts, bankers, corporate development professionals) and how they search, screen, and query financial content, both directly and through AI agents.
Continuously assess gaps in searchability, screening logic, and content structure, and prioritize improvements to how data is tagged, indexed, and ranked to close them.
Write and prioritize product requirements (PRDs) informed by customer discovery and client feedback, specifically related to search relevance, screening functionality, and the retrievability of financial content by agentic systems.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and GTM teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption of new search, screening, and agentic features.
Partner with data platform and AI/ML teams to define how financial content should be structured and exposed so it can be effectively consumed by search infrastructure and agentic tools.
Lead the development lifecycle for new search, screening, and agentic capabilities, from ideation and user stories through to launch and post-launch iteration.
Identify and conduct QA strategies for search accuracy, screening precision, and the reliability of agentic retrieval over financial content.
Work with core data platform teams to ensure seamless data delivery, indexing performance, and reliability for search, screening, and agentic use cases.
For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables.
