Agile Defense The Battle Officer I provides 24/7 technical oversight of a Global Cyber Operations Center supporting Army theaters. Responsibilities include incident management, situational awareness, and reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 technical oversight of Global Cyber Operations Center
Maintain awareness of outages affecting managed assets
Track customer impact and resolution of events
Make decisions about cyber operations, service delivery, and incident response
Facilitate resolution on critical events
Ensure prioritization of IT incidents and resource assignment
Monitor, approve, and manage Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI)
Ensure accurate reporting to GCC senior leaders and higher headquarters
Ensure prompt incident response and conformance to processes and service level targets
Monitor cyber assets using multiple tool sets
Identify network issues and anomalies
Exercise personnel call-out procedures for emergency response

Required

Active in scope Secret Clearance
HS +1 yrs’ experience or AA/AS +4 To include 1+ years’ experience in military operations (IE: NETOPS/G3/S3/S6/TOC/JOC/SOC)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent people and phone skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Must be willing to work flexible schedule (rotating shift work)
Positive, focused, and engaging team player is a must
Must be highly organized and adaptive to change
Understanding of the Army missions and how IT contributes to the delivery of products or services supporting those missions
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of Army customers/organizations (verbal and written)
Must possess basic overall IT knowledge

Preferred

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations v4
Prior military IT operations experience at the Brigade level or higher
Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure
