BoschGroup Associate/Environmental Health & Safety Engineer at Bosch Group responsible for applying safety and environmental knowledge to identify and resolve issues. Supports safety programs and regulatory compliance at semiconductor manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

Understanding of Safety & Environmental regulations and procedures.
Familiar with industrial hygiene monitoring methods and equipment.
Understanding of basic safety management practices.
Familiar with Federal and State hazardous waste management requirements.
Understanding of air pollution abatement.
Knowledge of wastewater treatment and basic regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of chemicals and gases used in semiconductor processes.
Establish effective working relationships with fellow Safety & Environmental Engineers and other site employees.
Performing accident/incident investigations and providing recommended corrective actions.
Management of the Respiratory Protection Program.
Conducting Safety & Environmental training classes.

Required

Management of onsite Emergency Response Team (ERT).
Environmental reporting to local, state, and federal agencies.
Universal, recycling, and hazardous waste management
Direct experience in CA is preferred.
Understanding of Cal-OSHA regulations, International Fire Code, hazardous waste management, air quality & water discharge permits, building codes, mechanical codes, plumbing codes, hazardous material handling plans, and or emergency response.
Ability to interpret governmental/statutory regulations, policies and procedures and execute accordingly to ensure compliance.
This role will work on site in Roseville, CA.
This position works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary.
Indefinite US work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.
