Senior Manager, Mechanical Engineer

Required

• Approximately 8+ years of experience designing mechanical and cooling systems for data centers, mission-critical facilities, or similarly complex industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience with data center cooling systems, including chilled-water plants, air cooling, mechanical distribution, and controls.
• Strong understanding of high-density IT cooling requirements and the relationship between rack density, thermal loads, cooling capacity, redundancy, and facility efficiency.
• Experience with plant sizing, redundancy, PUE, WUE, piping and pumping design, and mechanical controls sequences.
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE TC 9.9 and data center thermal-management practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or strongly preferred.
• Experience specifying, evaluating, and supporting procurement of major mechanical equipment and long-lead items.
• Ability to work effectively with Electrical, Controls, Construction, Preconstruction, vendors, and other engineering teams.
• Experience supporting mechanical commissioning, startup, and performance verification.
• Experience with direct-to-chip or immersion cooling is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound engineering decisions in complex and fast-moving project environments.
