Resurgent Industries Information Security Generalist at Resurgent Industries builds and supports the organization's security infrastructure and operational security processes. The role involves risk assessment, automation, and collaboration to enhance security posture and incident response.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support org-wide security tooling
Operationalize regular TSCM inspections for plant infrastructure, offices, and network systems
Run risk assessment processes for hardware and software; recommend and design remediations
Build and maintain run books for operational security processes
Build automation and everything as code libraries
Design and implement scalable solutions to support security posture and incident response
Collaborate across the organization to ensure first class security experiences
Drive organization security engagement and education
Collaborate to establish security standards and documentation

Required

6+ years of broad security experience with increasing scope and complexity
Fluency in network infrastructure, protocols, standards, and troubleshooting
Understanding of the contemporary APT landscape
Proficiency functioning under a platform agnostic mandate
Willingness to take ownership of TSCM operations and physical security systems
Ability to balance security posture with fast-moving organizational realities
Effective communicator and collaborator in a distributed team environment
Flexible with schedule and hours; thrives in a startup environment

Preferred

Experience at an early-stage hard tech, or deep tech startup
Prior experience on a small team, wearing multiple hats at the same time
Exposure to high security, high uptime environments
Willingness to travel as needed in order to meet the security needs of the business
Must be comfortable with a startup pace; this role demands flexibility, self-direction, and a bias toward action and outcomes over long-tail efforts
