Assist in all phases of underground fiber OSP construction, including loading and unloading materials, driving support vehicles, digging, and handling tools and equipment.

Support horizontal directional drilling (HDD) operations, including drill setup, rod handling, bore support, and jobsite cleanup.

Install underground conduit, handholes, vaults, and fiber-optic cable according to project specifications.

Perform vacuum excavation (vac) and potholing to safely locate, verify, and expose existing underground utilities.

Read and work from utility locates, construction prints, and jobsite markings to prevent utility damage.

Maintain drill equipment, vac units, and hand tools in proper and safe working condition.

Transport equipment, materials, and crews to and from job sites safely and efficiently.

Set up and maintain traffic control and safety perimeters using cones, signage, barricades, and barriers.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Communicate effectively with drill operators, foremen, and crew members to ensure coordinated and safe operations.

Travel to project locations up to 80% of the time, including overnight and out-of-area assignments as required.

Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, heat, rain, snow, humidity, and high winds.
