Trove HQ iOS Engineer at Trove HQ responsible for leading the vision and execution of the iOS platform including architecture, standards, and product surface. The role involves building engaging features with a strong emphasis on design and user experience.

Responsibilities

Deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit (not just feature work)
A history of shipping and scaling a highly interactive consumer app, owning the full product surface
Polished, animation-heavy work you can show us
Experience building complex, stateful interfaces that feel simple to the person using them
Background in marketplace, fintech, gaming, or social apps
Real 0→1 experience inside a company (not just side projects or agency work)
Comfort making architectural decisions with incomplete information and adjusting when priorities change
What success looks like
Ripping, selling, and redeeming cards feels effortless and engaging, even though there's a lot of complexity happening underneath. The app is fast, stable, and it holds up as usage grows. The architecture lets us try new ideas quickly without piling up technical debt. New features feel as polished as the core experience and we're shipping multiple times every month. Collectors notice the quality of our app and regularly tell us how much they enjoy new features and experiences. Engineering becomes something that sets us apart and Trove is regarded as one of the best iOS apps in our category.
