Senior Event Operations Manager

Required

• Eight or more years of experience in event planning, event operations, hospitality, conference management, or a similar field.
• Demonstrated experience leading large, complex events with 1000+ attendees—experience supporting events of 1500+ is strongly preferred.
• Ability to bring ideas to the table. We value people who can spot a problem before it becomes one, think creatively when plans change, and find practical solutions under pressure.
• A calm, creative, resourceful approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Comfortable working with senior executives, external speakers, and high-profile guests with professionalism, tact, and sound judgment.
• Someone who works well on a team, shares responsibility, and is willing to roll up their sleeves when the work calls for it.
• Strong experience negotiating contracts, managing vendors, building and managing budgets, and reconciling event billing.
• Experience managing speakers, presentations, and large amounts of event content with a high level of accuracy and follow-through.
• A strong hospitality mindset and a real interest in creating thoughtful, memorable experiences for attendees, speakers, and partners.
• The ability to move easily between strategy and execution. You can think through the big picture, but you also care about the details that make an event work.
• Strong judgment, organization, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience with Cvent, Navan, Tableau, and Salesforce is a plus.
