Divergent Senior Structures Engineer at Divergent responsible for structural design, analysis, and engineering execution in aerospace vehicle development. Supports product development lifecycle including CAD modeling, structural analysis, prototype testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Create CAD models, FE models, and BOMs for aerospace structures.
Perform structural analysis, validation, and optimization activities.
Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test teams.
Maintain engineering documentation and support product releases.
Contribute to process, weight, and cost improvement initiatives.

Qualification

CAD and PLM experienceExperience with NastranWork Environment

Required

BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of structural engineering experience.
CAD and PLM experience.
Experience with Nastran, Optistruct, LS-Dyna, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of aerospace structures and materials.
Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
