CesiumAstro Staff Electrical Engineer leading Command and Data Handling (C&DH) subsystem development for high-volume communication satellites. Own the C&DH subsystem block diagram, subsystem-level analysis, make-buy trades, trade studies, vendor interactions, Design Verification Testing, hardware delivery, and on-orbit support.

Responsibilities

Lead design and delivery of the C&DH subsystem for high-volume communication satellites
Own the C&DH subsystem block diagram in alignment with electrical architects
Perform subsystem-level analysis
Conduct make-buy trades and trade studies for buy items
Engage in technical vendor interactions
Lead subsystem Design Verification Testing (DVT)
Manage hardware delivery and on-orbit support
Collaborate with satellite architects and internal component development team to create a long-term roadmap
Serve as key point of contact for satellite software, mechanical, and AI&T teams
