CesiumAstro The Senior Electrical Engineer will design and deliver the Command and Data Handling (C&DH) subsystem for communication satellites. This role includes subsystem-level analysis, trade studies, vendor interactions, design verification testing, hardware delivery, and on-orbit support.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver the C&DH subsystem for communication satellites
- Own the C&DH subsystem block diagram in alignment with electrical architects
- Perform subsystem-level analysis and make-buy trades
- Conduct trade studies for buy items
- Engage in technical vendor interactions
- Lead subsystem Design Verification Testing (DVT)
- Manage hardware delivery and on-orbit support
- Collaborate with satellite software, mechanical, and AI&T teams
- Provide creative solutions to complex spacecraft design problems
