Twistbioscience The Manufacturing Associate II supports antibody characterization assays and purification workflows in antibody discovery and production projects. This role performs laboratory assays and maintains lab organization and documentation.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to assist with antibody characterization assays and/or purification workflows within in vivo antibody discovery campaigns and high-throughput antibody production, characterization, and developability projects. This role requires a team-oriented approach, clear and frequent communication, and an ability to function independently.
Shifts: 1. Sunday - Thursday, 12pm - 8:30pm 2. Tuesday - Saturday, 12pm - 8:30pm ** Training period requires Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm supervision until independent
Perform ELISA titer test, primary screening, and secondary screening assays for hybridoma workflows
Perform Baculovirus Particle ELISA assay
Perform NanoDSF assay
Perform High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
Perform SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis
Perform Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR; Carterra platform) assays
Prepare buffers for use in ELISA, SPR, Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC), HPLC, etc.
Perform aliquoting for protein productions
Perform daily cleaning maintenance on laboratory equipment
Assist in inventory management for project materials

Qualification

Good computer skills (ExcelHighly organized and detail-oriented

Required

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field is desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good computer skills (Excel, Google Drive, etc.)
