UX Researcher

Required

• Experience: 7+ years doing UX research in industry.
• Speed in execution: You excel at prioritizing research in fast-moving 0→1 environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and knowing when to be scrappy vs. when to go deep.
• Research craft: You know the right methodological approach for the question at hand, and you’re an expert in mixed methods.
• Data fluency: You use behavioral and business data to sharpen research questions, interpret results, and connect insights to measurable outcomes.
• AI-native research: AI is core to how you work, speeding up synthesis and sharpening questions, and you know where it falls short.
• User obsession: You’re energized by talking to customers regularly and believe that understanding people is the highest-leverage thing a product team can invest in.
• Ownership mindset: You take initiative in a self-directed environment, proactively identify what needs to be known, and drive research programs forward without waiting to be asked.
• NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure:
• Salary Range: $200,000 to $250,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
• This salary range is based on the current available market data and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but a broad range of experience is represented within roles. Should you have compensation expectations that exceed these bands, we'd still love to hear from you.
