Associate Director, Business Analytics - Trade

Required

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a consultant or analyst with a pharmaceutical manufacturer, including 5 years of relevant experience in the following areas; or alternatively, a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience as a consultant or analyst with a pharmaceutical manufacturer, including 3 years of relevant experience in the following areas.
• Applying practical statistical methods, including trend analysis, multivariate analysis, forecasting, ROI measurement, and scenario analysis, using pharmaceutical and trade data sources including CMS, IQVIA, Symphony Health, Rebate, EDI 867 (Product Transfer & Resale), EDI 852 (Product Activity), and HIRC.
• Performing data analysis using each of the following tools: SQL, Advanced Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI; Experience with Python or R is preferred.
• Ability to pull, integrate, validate, and analyze internal and syndicated pharmaceutical data to generate insights on channel performance, patient access, distribution flow, commercial opportunities, risks, and trade impact.
• Demonstrated ability to lead both analytics and primary research activities in support of supply chain stakeholders, including specialty pharmacies, retail pharmacies, wholesalers, and patient services.
• Experience leading analytics and primary research to support trade, distribution, and supply chain stakeholders, including specialty pharmacies, retail pharmacies, wholesalers, GPOs, and patient services.
• Proven business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, executive presence, and the ability to influence without authority across cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak and write persuasively, clearly, and concisely.
• Ability to effectively use AI tools to improve analytics, reporting, and communication while ensuring accuracy, privacy, and compliance.
• Ability to synthesize complex analytics, research, and trade/distribution data into clear, concise, and persuasive recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and resourcefulness in a dynamic, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment.
