Ripple Staff Product Manager at Ripple owning tokenization and privacy protocol workstreams on the XRP Ledger. Lead roadmap for Multi-Purpose Tokens and Confidential MPTs to enable institutional asset issuance and privacy.
Responsibilities
Token standards. MPTs need to grow from a fund token into a complete issuance framework for institutions: asset restrictions, corporate events, programmable behavior. Get this right and the next wave of assets (commercial paper, commodities, bonds, equities) can be issued, held and mobilized natively on a public ledger. Each asset class brings its own rules, and you will determine what fits within the protocol and what remains outside it.
Privacy. Institutions will not trade on a ledger where every position is visible. Confidential MPT brings capital-markets-grade confidentiality to a public chain. You will be responsible for its progress from initial rollout to enterprise-wide adoption. This covers keeping up with new emerging technologies and industry trends, and working with custodians and wallets supporting development into vaults and payments. These are open problems across the industry. Few teams anywhere in the world are working on all of them at once.
This is a role where you witness your impact directly. The specifications you write become amendments to an open-source ledger, adopted by the XRPL validators community and used by real institutions moving real money. You will work alongside protocol engineers, cryptographers, custodians and issuers, with the backing of a team that has already brought the first institutional funds on-chain.
Lead the tokenization roadmap for XRPL: MPT evolution, transfer controls, corporate actions and programmable tokens, and decide what belongs in the protocol versus above it.
Lead the privacy roadmap: take Confidential MPTs from mainnet launch to institutional scale, including key rotation and recovery, performance targets and confidential vaults.
Generate new feature specifications and build the consensus behind them, working with Ripple engineering, XRPL validators and open-source contributors to carry proposals from concept to amendment.
Set the requirements and priorities for each new asset class, and shape the go-to-market that brings capital markets participants onto XRPL.
Make new primitives usable, not just live: bring hardware wallets, custodians and issuer platforms along so institutions can adopt on day one.
Scope the compliance capabilities that regulated issuers need to meet their obligations on XRPL.
Partner with developer growth and documentation teams so institutions can originate assets on XRPL without a Ripple engineer in the room.
Define the metrics that show the work is landing: XRPL's share of tokenized assets, issuance volume and ecosystem integrations.
In your first 90 days, you will take charge of a single roadmap across tokenization and privacy and know every open item on it. By the end of your first year, you will have successfully delivered the next generation of tokenization capabilities. And outlined what institutional privacy on XRPL entails.
