Conducts electrical studies primarily for renewable facilities that encompass the substation and collection system in support of the solar, wind, BESS and substation design teams

Creates and develops studies and reports including but not limited to short circuit, reactive power/load flow, arc flash, protection coordination, dynamic, transient, harmonic (pre & post), interconnection compliance, ampacity, grounding, as well as other related studies and calculations

Conduct reviews and QA/QC for electrical studies in support of renewable studies team members and design teams

Serve as a client facing project lead for renewable system studies scope.

Establish study templates, methodologies, and best practices for electrical system studies for renewable projects

Serve as an SME for at least one study software, providing software and associated studies. Support team members with software related questions and troubleshooting

Provide regulatory compliance services for all project design phases from conceptual design through project testing and commission

May occasionally assist with performing equipment, control system, communications, troubleshooting, and relay field testing and start-up and commissioning services
