Serve Robotics Accountant at Serve Robotics responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audits. Oversees key accounting processes and ensures compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger
Review, classify, and record expenses per company policies
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses
Support internal and external audits with documentation and responses
Monitor accounting activities for compliance with GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and procedures
Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting5+ years of full accounting experienceProgress toward CPA certificationExperience with robotics

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of full accounting experience
Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero or NetSuite
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Working knowledge of GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley compliance processes

Preferred

Progress toward CPA certification.
Experience with a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.
Experience in a startup or other fast paced environment.
Experience with robotics, manufacturing, or technology companies, including exposure to inventory management or cost accounting processes.
Demonstrated ability to adapt and operate effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
