Anduril Industries Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Geospatial Platform) at Anduril Industries leads a team of software and GIS engineers to deliver and maintain Terra’s geospatial production systems. Sets technical and product direction for geospatial data and manages partnerships for data sourcing and licensing.

Responsibilities

Lead, hire, and develop a team of software and GIS engineers. Shape the team structure as it grows past a single team.
Own the delivery and reliability of Terra’s production systems, including offline map pipelines for fielded autonomous systems and operational support.
Set the roadmap for Anduril’s common map environment: imagery and terrain basemaps, nautical and aeronautical charts, vision-based navigation data, and synthetic environment reconstruction for simulation.
Work with business lines to understand mission needs, set clear expectations, and turn requests into products other teams can use without our help.
Own Terra’s map content strategy, working with partnerships, legal, and finance to source data and make sure our systems enforce how licensed data can be used.
Tell the story of what Terra builds: product docs, demos, and roadmaps that drive adoption across the company.
