This Account Executive, Health position is a hybrid in-office role (3x per week), based out of the We. Communication’s New York City office.
Account Management & Strategic Thinking
Conduct news monitoring and draft client-facing article summaries and recommendations
Develop and maintain program and project action plans/timelines
Identify opportunities for integration with media, digital and creative teams
Media and Influencer Engagement
Develop targeted media lists and pitch angles
Contribute to media efforts, including pitching or research requests
Support influencer programs, including influencer audits, contracting and content development
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Communications2-3 years of experience in PRStrong writingAbility to drive client relationshipsProven media relations experienceCreative#LI-DF1 #LI-hybrid
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field
2-3 years of experience in PR, preferably in an agency setting and/or within the healthcare industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel)
Strong writing, editing, presentation and research skills.
Ability to drive client relationships, provide strategic and tactical advice, provide thoughtful analysis on news coverage, identify proactive opportunities, craft materials including press releases, pitches and social media content, and reference/source material content is highly desirable
Proven media relations experience
Creative, team player that can work in a fast-paced environment
An interest in developing integrated communications skills incorporating digital and social media
