Responsibilities

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for complex financial processes which affect numerous positions and roles and will have material financial impact throughout the company. Significant amounts of time spent will be in the organization and coordination of the budget, forecast and reporting. This position requires a strong analytical, organized business thinker who can resolve complex problems with minimal supervision. Creativity and desire to understand the PR marketplace is important in order to understand the business impacts to the company. This role will/may consult with all levels of management throughout every division and unit in the company, globally. All information received and produced is of a sensitive and confidential nature, so integrity is required.
Review monthly financial summaries (standard reports, variance analysis, performance recaps) and discuss financial highlights with business partners
Drive the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting efforts for assigned organizational groups
Help to educate internal partners on the use and interpretation of financial reports, best practices, useful financial techniques and budgeting tools
Lead and prepare analyses that aid in decision making and improving profitability and margins for the company
Utilize data and perform quantitative analysis in evaluating metric performance, operations results, resource usage and variances
Review individual and consolidated plans (forecasts) for critical analysis and administrative review with manager
With direction from the Director of FP&A, create in-depth, specific and flexible value-added reporting for business leads and senior managers
Responsible for driving the development of pricing and profitability models, contingency planning, process alternatives and variance analysis for assigned organizational groups
Projects encompass application of business and economic assumptions in analysis areas of personnel usage, payroll and fringe benefits, P&L, trending analysis, cost reduction strategies and capital improvements
Consult with internal partners to make informed decisions that meet company business plans and financial targets set by management
