Simple AI Sales Development Representative responsible for researching target accounts, writing outbound messages, cold calling prospects, qualifying interest, and booking meetings to build the sales funnel. Work closely with the GTM team to develop outbound sales strategies.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to help build the top of our sales funnel from the ground up. You will be responsible for researching target accounts, writing outbound messages, cold calling prospects, qualifying interest, and booking meetings for the sales team.
This is a high-activity, high-learning role. You will work closely with the GTM team to test messaging, learn which buyers respond, understand different verticals, and help create the early outbound playbook for Simple.
The best fit for this role is someone who is energetic, competitive, resilient, and excited to spend a lot of time on the phone. You should be comfortable with rejection, eager to improve quickly, and motivated by the chance to break into sales at a fast-growing AI startup.

Qualification

A high level of energyPrior SDR or outbound sales experienceFamiliarity with tools like HubSpot

Required

0–3 years of sales or SDR experience (early-career candidates encouraged to apply).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A high level of energy, resilience, and comfort with rejection.
Ability to stay organized and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Curiosity and genuine enthusiasm about AI and how businesses use it.
Self-motivated and eager to learn sales fundamentals from experienced leaders.

Preferred

Prior SDR or outbound sales experience.
Experience doing outbound at an early-stage startup.
Experience selling technical products or AI software.
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, or Outreach.
