Remedy Pharmacy Packaging Clerk at Remedy responsible for processing and packaging prescriptions accurately and efficiently. The role includes maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Responsibilities
The base pay range for this position is $17.50 per hour**

Assist with processing and packaging prescriptions or paperwork with accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency
Prioritize or multitask to complete the processing for time-sensitive medications
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Performs duties of the Material Handler as required
Pack 800 - 1000 prescriptions in an 8 hour shift (after 1 month in role and training completed)
Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer
Ensure ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations; ensure that the pharmacy meets or exceeds accreditation standards; and implement “best practices” in all pharmacy activities
Participate in the pharmacy’s performance improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator

Less than 1 year of packaging experience
Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records
Computer skills that include proficiency with multiple programs and use of the internet and email
Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day
Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person communication 7-8 hours per day
Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor
Ability to sit or stand at a desk for 7-8 hours per day
