Duolingo Recruiter II at Duolingo to manage full-cycle recruiting for non-technical and some technical roles. Partner with hiring managers and use data and AI tools to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Recruiter II to hire exceptional talent across Duolingo’s non-technical functions. You’ll run full‐cycle searches, partner closely with hiring managers to define profiles, build strong pipelines, and deliver a white‐glove candidate experience. You’ll balance speed and quality, use data to inform decisions, and help maintain Duolingo’s high talent bar.
Own full‐cycle recruiting (intake, sourcing, assessments, offers) and drive efficient, high‐quality hiring outcomes for various roles in our non‐technical functions, with potential to work on some technical roles.
Partner with hiring managers to align on role requirements, interview plans, and timelines; help set clear expectations and keep searches on track.
Support intake meetings and recruiting syncs by sharing updates, surfacing insights, and recommending next steps.
Execute strong recruiting operations: manage timelines, track progress, and proactively communicate status updates and risks, complying with standardized processes and usage of tools.
Deliver an excellent candidate experience with timely communication, structured assessments, and clear feedback loops from first touch to close.
Use data to inform your work: monitor funnel health, identify trends, and suggest improvements to your searches.
Use a mix of internal and third‐party tools, including AI.
3+ years of full‐cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing and closing for technical roles like engineering, data science, and/or AI roles.
Experience hiring for moderately complex roles (e.g., industry hires, early-career or internship roles, or program management roles).
Ability to manage multiple searches at once while maintaining strong organization and candidate experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; you build trust and keep hiring partners aligned.
